RESEARCH INTERESTS
Marine robotics, unmanned surface vehicles, underwater autonomous vehicles, ocean exploration. Currently working towards continuing to solve the problem of cooperative localization of multiple underwater autonomous vehicles while constrained by the limitations of the acoustic channel. Through more effective localization of multiple vehicles in the ocean with limited sensing resources, strides can be made in both further exploring the (still vastly mysterious) ocean and replacing humans in dangerous undersea jobs, thereby eliminating the unnecessary loss of life that often comes as an associated risk.
